Message	the LAST thing you want on a tuned Z is a shitty set of tires. This is how Z's end up on the Dead List. you don't have to do "serious driving" to suffer some catastrophic failure with your tires... 55mph on the highway isn't "serious driving" but a blow out at that speed won't be nice... all that money spent on tuning your Z and your skimping on the ONLY part of the car that makes contact with the road... makes no sense to me... I have Pirelli P-zeros which look brand new (still have molding flash on them) that cost me a grand, but they're 11 years old (according to MFG date) and before my Z hits the road for ANY of my driving, i'm changing them out. 245/45 zr17 front... 265/40 zr17 rear... i'll leave them for a burnout contest or something... I'm not about to risk all the money and years of work spent, or killing my Z with a cheap set of tires.
